Your generous donations greatly benefitted the Soup Kitchen and St. Vincent Place this past holiday season.

For the eighth year in a row, the Fill The Tundra fundraiser sought out to battle food insecurity in our community – and once again, with the help of the Sault Ste. Marie community, they were able to exceed their goal. After matching the first $1,000 dollars donated by the community, Northside Toyota continued gathering online donations, as well as welcoming food and monetary donations at a number of physical locations.

Thanks to your generous support, Northside Toyota successfully raised $9,000 with non-perishable food items in an effort to help those most in need this past holiday season. With the prices of food rising at record levels over the last year, food insecurity has become a more and more prevalent problem. Despite the obstacles, the Soup Kitchen serves between 3,000 and 4,000 meals per month to families in need. With the help of this fundraiser and others like it, we are pleased to be able to do our part to battle hunger.

“This year saw a record amount of food donated graciously by the community. We are proud to play our part in giving back to the community of Sault Ste. Marie,” says Mario Palumbo, Dealer Principal at Northside Toyota.

“We want to say thank you to everyone for coming together to help drive down hunger in Sault Ste. Marie this holiday season. We appreciate your support and generosity and look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come.”

“A special thank you goes to both Rome’s and Pino’s for once again taking part in this excellent tradition. We look forward to making next year bigger and better!”

Northside Toyota would also like to thank our partners for supporting us in our mission: ASAPP OXP, Lyons Timber Mart, Savoy’s Jewellers, SooToday and Spadafora Johnson Lepore LLP.

From all of us here at Northside Toyota, we thank you for your support and wish you a happy New Year.
