Toyota Safety Sense C Package
Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) is currently available in two packages: 2018 Corolla iM, 2018 Prius c, 2018 Yaris Hatchback, 2017 Corolla iM, 2017 Prius c , 2017 Yaris Hatchback: This safety system package comes with multiple features to make the road safer for everyone. A pre-collision system helps avoid or mitigate frontal collisions, while Lane Departure Alert notifies you if any lane drifting is detected. Meanwhile, automatic high beams switch between low and high beams for you depending on the circumstance, so you can pay more attention to the road ahead.
Toyota Safety Sense P Package
TSS-P is the second package that is currently offered and is available on a long list of Toyota vehicles (see below). One of the many features of TSS-P is dynamic radar cruise control, which uses radar technology to sense the speed of the vehicle ahead and adjusts your speed accordingly. Sensors also detect if you begin to drift out of your lane, and in some cases the steering assist function will nudge the steering wheel to help keep the vehicle on the correct path. The TSS-P package also includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection and automatic high beams.
